26AD: John the Baptist

In the wilderness, John the Baptist started his ministry preaching the repentance of sin and baptism. Crowds came from Judea, Jerusalem, and Galilee to hear his message and be baptized. His preaching was the fulfillment of Isaiah 40 and Malachi 4 when Jesus came to be baptized.
